John Cena is currently scheduled to film the second season of American Grit and the shooting is expected to begin from the mid-October and as of the current estimations, Cena might be out of action until late December filming for the show.
Cena's last scheduled date before his hiatus is the SmackDown taping on Tuesday, October 11th at the SAP Center in San Jose, CA.Moreover, Cena is also currently being listed to appear at the Survivor Series PPV which is on 20th of November but on the other hand he is not being advertised for any of the house shows or events until late December for WWE Holiday live events which are at the time of Christmas.
Cena is currently scheduled to face Dean Ambrose and WWE Champion AJ Styles in a Triple Threat match for the title at WWE No Mercy on 9th of October, which is days before he leaves to shoot American Grit.
