How can WWE make cruiserweight division exciting

WWE finally listened to their Fans in 2016 and are trying to deliver a product what people wanted to see. The cruiserweight division is one such great addition which surely can increase the ratings and we got a glimpse of that with the cruiserweight classic. Here are few things that WWE can do to make the cruiserweight division exciting.

#1 Make it truly feel like they are part of RAW.

As you may have noticed whenever cruiserweight appear on Raw everything from entrance screen to ropes and the apron screen goes purple, it makes it look like a different show altogether. Added to that the difference in action makes things worse as it doesn't match with the psychology of the whole show. So WWE instead should try to make it feel like a part of Raw by not changing the appearance of the show and treating it any regular stuff that happens on Raw.

#2 Cruiserweight division OK.. but stop putting a label on it.

Although its too early to tell but apparently cruiserweights are only fighting cruiserweights which in the long run it'll make it look boring, instead make them feud with some of the other guys on roster like Roman reigns, Sami zayn , BO Dallas etc. and this can establish them as a creditable superstars who could be used for other title pushes like the US, Tag titles or even The universal championship.

This can be easily possible by making them members of a survivor series team, participant in a No.1 contender match, feud with Rusev perhaps will help in long run.

#3 Make a cruiserweight defeat Braun strowman

Every time this guy comes on the screen it feels like its 2 a.m in the morning and the millions... watching at home yawn together. WWE rapidly tries to project him as a monster every week and ends up making James Elssworth an internet sensation, the guy has zero character and ring skills are in deep minus and to make him look like a monster when we have already seen some of the epic monsters in Kane, Abyss, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Strowman ends up looking stupid in those squash matches. WWE can finally make some good use of him by getting him bested by cruiserweights especially the ones audience is not familiar with like Drew Gullak, Rich Swann, T.J Perkins, Cedric Alexander etc.

#4 Throw others into the mix

Neville and Sami Zayn

For anyone who has seen NXT Revolution knows Sami zayn and Neville are two of the best workers in the industry today. Where Neville is a great high-flyer Sami is great all-rounder in the ring and one of the best storyteller in the ring. Anyone of them holding the cruiserweight title will make it more prestigious as they have a cult following in both internet and casual audiences while the other cruiserweight talents can take the time to establish themselves. Other two guys who can be vital in bringing a class to cruiserweight division are Kalisto and Brian kendrick because of their familiarity with the audience.

#5 Hire more talent

Matt sydall [ Evan bourne] and Will ospreay

The current cruiserweight division guys are too unfamiliar to the audience right now that is one of the reason why T.J Perkins was met with CM punk chants as they can't relate or know this guy which is very sad considering the background he comes from and how hard he worked to reach where he is today. So for putting guys like him on the map WWE needs few established guys on their Roster. Just imagine the pop AJ styles got when he made his debut at the Royal rumble same could happen if guys like Rey Mysterio, Evan Bourne can return and global stars like Chris Sabin, Zack Sabre jr., Will Ospreay etc show up and WWE could become the wrestling show to watch for and ratings will go sky high.

#6 Storylines

Its one of the current areas where Raw writers aren't good at, to establish the division the chase for the title and the storyline feuds should go side by side and the extra hour that Raw has can be utilized for this rather than boring promos, meaningless tag matches and squash matches for Braun strowman and Nia jax.
