As we noted earlier Brock Lesnar was tested positive for clomiphene in drug tests which was conducted at the time of UFC 200. His fellow fighter Jones was also tested positive for clomiphene, an anti-estrogen agent, as well as Letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor prior to his fight at UFC 200.
Now ever since both of these athletes were caught doping there has been a question arisen whether these athletes would be fined by UFC or not?UFC vice president of public relations Dave Sholler stated that the MMA promotion will not be imposing any sort of fine over Lesnar. Any fines which are charged will be left up to the state athletic commission.
The Nevada Athletic Commission's guidelines state that there would be a penalty of 50 to 70 Percent of the participants purse for the first violation of their drug policy related to use the use of anabolic steroids.However, it's very unclear whether The NSAC considers clomiphene as an anabolic steroid.
