Current WWE World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns is rumored to face John Cena at the Summerslam PPV this year for WWE World heavyweight championship.John Cena was actually rumored to face Roman Reings at Summer Slam PPV last year but with the alteration in the storyline this match never really took place and instead Cena went on to face Seth Rollins instead of Reings. A Cena vs Roman match was always discussed and there backstage but these plans were never really put on paper.WWE did toy with this match numerous times. As of now it's being speculated that Cena is rumored to face Reings at the Summer Slam PPV.
Do note that this Aj Styles - Roman Reings feud is in its last days.And AJ Styles is expected to wrap up things from this feud as soon as Extreme Rules finishes.
There may be some changes in the plans of WWE as some Pay per views still stand on the way of Summerslam.
